Solomon’s Ditch – Short Fiction in Ozone Park Journal

Ozone Park Journal, the online literary magazine edited and designed by students in the MFA program at Queens College in New York (not affiliated with my MFA program, Queens University of Charlotte, NC) has published my story, Solomon’s Ditch, in their Fall 2011 issue.

You can read the story online, right here.

I’m really happy that Solomon and his Lucy found their own little spot for publication. This story didn’t fit in with the underlying themes of my story collection, The Blues and the Oranges, and it is a story I really liked. I was hopeful I’d find a literary home for Solomon. I hope you enjoy reading the story.

While you are at Ozone Park Journal, feel free to look around at their other offerings. For those of you who might like to submit, their reading period for the spring issue starts in Feb. (Mark your calendar!) You can see their submission guidelines here.
