About
Words Matter was founded by author Eric Sheridan Wyatt to help aspiring and established writers pursue their creative writing endeavors. Over the years, our focus has evolved to include guided journaling and journal therapy.
Whether you have a creative writing project in mind, you've already completed a manuscript, or you are interested in self-discovery (and recovery) via guided journal therapy, Words Matter can help.
Words Matter offers direct instruction in creative writing and literature—both in and around Cincinnati, Ohio, or via virtual/online connections—that will broaden your understanding and experience of creative writing.
If you are looking for creative encouragement and accountability, Eric Sheridan Wyatt offers one-on-one coaching and mentoring, either in person or online.
If you’ve already written a manuscript but are looking for help developing, reshaping, or correcting it, we can collaborate with you to realize your creative vision via editing, proofreading, and developmental editing.
If you want to see your words in print, we provide an easy and cost-effective alternative to vanity publishing we call guided self-publishing.
If you have a story to tell, but the idea of writing it yourself seems too daunting, our ghostwriting and publication services may be just what you are looking for. (And, we don't rely on AI to write your story, the way most of the "big name" ghostwriting sites do.)
And, if you've ever discovered the power of a regular journaling practice as a pathway to creative renewal and radical self-discovery—or you'd like to—journal therapy, legacy writing, and The Self-Reclamation Project may be for you.
If any of this sounds like something you'd be interested in investigating, check out the information in this website and be sure to contact us. We will do our best to provide you with the resources you need to succeed as a writer or creative.
"I am so grateful for your insights into ways my novel could be improved. Before your help, I was lost in my own words and thoughts. You helped me focus on what was worth keeping as well as to accept the changes that would improve my writing. Your honest and insightful encouragement were invaluable to me."
